Hello L-Carnitine!

What the heck do you do?

I’m responsible for burning more fat, increasing endurance, regulating blood sugar and optimizing hormones.

Why is regulating my blood sugar and hormones important?

Insulin is the hormone responsible for transporting sugar from the bloodstream to the cells where it can be used as fuel. You can jack up insulin when you stress your body out by lack of sleep and genuinely emotionally being stressed. You may think you are handling stress well, but it doesn’t mean your body is. If your blood sugar is high, it means your body cannot burn fat.

Incorporating Whole Foods as carbs, more fiber, and protein foods in your diet as well as using natural stress relievers can also help keep blood sugar in check.

What else do you do Carnitine? If you have high intensity workouts I help offset that work capacity. I also help with oxidative stress, which can lead to long term health concerns such as heart disease, diabetes, and inflammation.

Carnitine can be an awesome fat burner that can help transport fats into the cells and be utilized as an energy source in the body. When you begin to raise the level of carnitine in the body you will support the fat burning process and will ultimately become more efficient at burning fat as well as increasing your energy levels.

Our bodies naturally make it and we can get it with grass fed beef, sirloin, chicken, etc.

How much should I take? 2g daily. If you use LT’s carnipure add it to your shake; it tastes like I want to hide under my bed from my mom giving me medicine lol!

Who shouldn’t take? Anyone utilizing a seizure medication or with hypothyroidism as it may worsen symptoms; not always, but just had to note.
